Hollywood Lakes Area, wonderful

I live in the best area of South Florida. The old part of Hollywood is between two lakes formed by the intercostal waterway immediately west of a two block wide barrier island that forms the nearby beach. The housing here is mid-century and very well maintained. The trees are great. What's best is the sense of community we have here with our very active civic assn, so we have a good voice at city hall. It's not cheap, but it's one of the nicest areas in Ft. Lauderdale / Miami.
