Ive lived hered here over 30 years. Its gone down in many ways. Mall is no longer a mall. We have a sign up on it after huge renovations, still open yankton village. Too high priced to keep businesses there most of the building is empty. Huge area in,parking lot was to be a motel that never came to be. The parking lot is full if it holes.
We dont seem,to be growing positively. Huge drug problem thats gotten severe.
Our city has stopped so many others businesses from comibg in such as more retail a,nd grocery stores, which we only have 2. We need to travel 1 to 3 hours to go for entertainment and shopping variety.
We have beautiful scenery, lots of places for camping, summer activities on the river and a wide variety of churches to attend. Djs is a great place to rent from for those summer activities, Davids depot is a fun place to shop as a thrift shop and fair. Come stay fir summer,river fun enjoy views and lewis and Clark history as well as dakota territory capital.
