Review of Columbus, Indiana

back home in Indiana?
Star Rating - 3/22/2006
Columbus was rated as the 6th most architecturally significant city in the US. It was also rated as 1 of the top 10 cities in America. I'm not sure of the criteria they used to come to that rating, but I do know that there is a low crime rate, good schools & hospitals, a low cost of living, and 'folksy' type people. It is an hour from Indianapolis, 1.25 hours from Louisville, and 1.25 hours from Cincinnati.
I have lived in Indiana for about 10 years now. 2 in the southern part of the state, 2 in the northern part, and the rest here in the central part. I would have to say, in my opinion, this is the most attractive area of Indiana.
