Just a normal, big town in the Midwest. Decent public schools, sure, pretty safe, indeed and not expensive (yet) to live. On the one hand many normal-sized (mostly old) houses and clean roads, on the other hand, ultra loud booming car stereos and deafening Harley's everywhere. I guess you get the idea.
