From May 1 to November 1 expect hot, humid days, frequently with rainfall in the afternoon for at least 15 minutes. The rest of the year it is beautiful: warm but not too humid and little rain. Hurriane season is from around June 1 through November 30. There will be plenty of storms and some of them might be severe. If a hurricane comes, you will have plenty of time to evacuate or seek a community shelter.
