No desire for good economy here

Elyria is a decent place to live, but don't plan on working here. Elyria has a bad habit of driving existing businesses with decent paying jobs away and discouraging others from coming here. Most local businesses have seen their business drop 30 to 50% over last year. Upwards of 20% of single family houses are on the market right now.
Having lived here all my life, I find Elyria to be dying. People are having to move else where to find decent paying jobs. they just don't exist here any longer.
