Review of North Auro,

Quiet village
Star Rating - 8/14/2011
North Aurora is at the far western edge of the Chicago suburbs. It is in the middle of a north/south string of communities on the Fox river, known as the Fox (river) Valley.I grew up in the Fox Valley and have lived here most of my life. We are pretty much the edge of civilization; less than a mile west of here becomes farmland. The whole Fox Valley has seen tremendous growth in the last 40 years. I anticipate that with growth leveling off,in the next 20 years this string of suburban towns will face the same sort of sustainability issues as much of the country.Meanwhile it's quiet, pretty and lot's of cultural opportunities in the area.
