We were on our way to a funeral in Pinos Wells, NM when we were stopped by Mountainair Police. We were following several cars headed toward the cemetery at the same rate of speed. However, the police saw our Kansas plates and only pulled us over. Cop handed us us a $100 ticket and asked if we would like to pay it or go to court. What nerve!...he knew we wouldn't return to that backwater town just for that. We will NEVER go through Mountainair again, and we suggest you don't either.
