Review of Cornish, New Hampshire

Cornish is rural
Star Rating - 8/2/2007
Cornish is my home town. We have the world's longest two-span covered bridge. We also boast a view of the tallest freestanding monadnock east of the Mississippi, Mount Ascutney. There are several farms, and roadside vegetable stands. There is one school, K-8th grade, and they really love their French language program there. The Cornish sports program has basically disappeared. Now they send the kids to Windsor, VT. Traffic is light, except for Route 12A and Route 120, which are the main routes through Cornish. There is hiking, and canoeing. We are right next to the Connecticut river.
