Review of Quakertown, Pennsylvania

Quakertown is small but growing
Star Rating - 3/12/2007
I've lived in Quakertown for 10 years now and it is a beautiful slice of suburban Pennsylvania. We are centrally located between Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley (both are within a 30 minute drive). The area used to be mostly rural farm land but has been growing more and more over the past 10 years. It's great to see the new interest in the area and all the modernization it brings. If you are looking for a location in the megalopolis of the Northeast but want to save on cost of living, Quakertown and Upper Bucks County are an excellent choice.

If you are looking for easy access to entertainment, upscale shopping, and the amenities of city-life, you might not enjoy the area.
