Your info on Amelia, VA is completely incorrect. Population reached 13,000 years ago. Education is barely high school. The ones who make it past high schòl escape. Jobs are nonexistent, unless you work for yourself. Property taxes are pretty cheap due to rural existence, lack of employment, lack of progression and lack of interest in progression. If you want to return to living in the early '70's where rednecks rule come to Amelia, VA.
There is a church on every corner where people have attended their entire lives. If nothing else Amelia, VA offers history. People in Amelia, VA still live in the past. A past that still allows unlocked doors and neighbors looking after neighbors. Chances are that you personally have met or know every name written about in our weekly newspaper. My college classes were correct...the South holds onto old traditions. If you want to go back in time come to Amelia, Virginia.
