Palatka is growing and will likely grow more in the near future. Although prices have escalated, housing is still less expensive than St. Augustine. Many people will have to live in Palatka and work in St. Augustine. There are more and better paying jobs in St. Augustine, but housing has gotten too expensive for may people.
