Review of Warren, New Jersey

lack of Sidewalks
Star Rating - 2/12/2010
Warren is in the NEW York Metropolitan area and all towns that surround Warren have sidewalks. Warren does not. The lack of sidewalks makes Warren an inconvenient place to live. The downtown area is a cluster of strip Malls and stand alone office buildings with large asphalt parking lots. The appeal is negative. People cannot walk anywhere in town and even many of the roads are filed with heavy traffic, no sidewalks and little shoulder to even ride a bike. Property values have been falling due to a lack of a town center that surrounding towns all have.

The sidewalks comment seems a bit absurd. I get that you personally want them, but to negatively judge a beautiful town over it reads as a bit ridiculous. Warren is definitely not in the New York Metropolitan area in terms of how it looks, and Warren is over 30 Miles away from New York City. Most houses are spread out a bit and not crammed in, so you do not hear much noise from neighbors. Warren is a very nice, very green, very safe feeling town.
