Your ignorance illustrates the reason this area is in decline. You said if you are wealthy and have a "high profile career" you will love it here. If this area was a haven for wealthy people with "high profile careers," it would be booming right now. You are probably an uneducated white trash redneck like the majority of the people here that have no understanding whatsoever of how a local economy operates and how wealth is generated throughout a community. If you are an "average joe" as Kristen says, you will love it here. You can buy a home for next to nothing and live a decent life. If you are wealthy, educated, and in search of a "high profile career," you will hate it because there is no culture, arts, or any other finer thing in life that attract these types of people that are actually productive and innovative on a level greater than simply tending the machinery in the local factories.
