You're better off in The Villages

Your standard, run-of-the-mill suburb, complete with strip malls and endless suburban sprawl. I suppose it's ideal for well-off retirees, the beach is nice and has plenty of waterfronts for boaters. For the everyday working person and young people, it's not that ideal. Very few job opportunities, terrible infrastructure for growth and high traffic, and little amenities make for a very depressing place. Sadly, that could be said of almost all of Suffolk; unsurprisingly, the vast majority of people I knew growing up here in the area moved out immediately after graduating, or dream of someday moving out. At least the pizza's alright.
