Saint Paul and Minneapolis are blessed with a wide variety of music and theatre venues. The Ordway Theatre in St.Paul is a spectacular music hall and offers a great variety of musical events from classical to broadway shows.
The Fitzgerald Theatre is home to the Prarie Home Companion and adds it's unique blend of events. Minneapolis has the beautiful new Guthrie Theatre a spectacular venue on the Mississippi river. Orchastra Hall is another excellent music hall with great acoustics. The State and Orpheum and Pantages theatres are older facilities with a wonderful history that have all been renovated and now host many musical and popular broadway style shows. There are many more active theaters in the area too numerous to name but they all add to a vital and exciting option for all kinds of theatre goers.
