I've lived in Mendota my entire life and am very thankful for the small town that it is. The community comes together to help each other out whenever there is a need. Our schools are great and we have some amazing parks that are starting to transition and become even better. Mendota has two beautiful lakes that can be a place for gatherings or just to relax and enjoy. We have a community pool, beautiful library, hospital and some really neat small museums that represent things from our town. A huge plus to Mendota is the railroad service we have and how convenient it is to travel to Chicago or anywhere for that matter. There is a lot more to offer and I truly believe we will be seeing more and more coming to the World's Greatest Little City!!!
