This information is completely outdated. The school has had a new principal for three years, and she is beyond amazing!! I agree that the previous administration was, to be diplomatic, lacking, but Mrs. Solomon-Gray has worked very hard to make the school more inviting and to make parents feel welcomed. She always welcomes you with a smile, and always takes the time to say "good morning", "hello", etc. Test scores continue to improve and she has implemented many changes including, but not limited to implementing The "Leader in Me" program, a program by Stephen Covey, which teaches our children to inspire greatness within their self. The school is also now a Community Learning Center. The teachers are amazing and the office staff are always willing to go out of their way to help you. As is Mrs. Solomon-Gray. Both of my girls attended Chevoit, and we truly love the school and the staff.
