Review of Front Royal, Virginia

Nice area
Star Rating - 4/30/2007
There is much to do within the immediate area and the extended area. Lots of Civil War historical sites nearby as well as recreational and scenic areas. The Skyline Drive begins here. There is canoeing available on the Shenandoah River. There are caverns nearby or clime to the skys on the rocky mountain faces. The George Washington National Forrest is available with park areas close by. Within a very few hours you can enjoy skiing in the mountains or head to the larger cities of Baltimore,MD or Washington, DC. We have many natural and man made treasures to behold. The fall foilage is amazing! The redbud and dogwood trees in spring! We celebrate all four seasons!
