Dying town

Benld is a town rich with history from the first 50 years of the 20th century but has no reason to exist. The homes are falling down because most were built in the 1920's and 1930's and the values of even the nicer homes in town have plummeted (see below), The only people who live there are undesirables that have drifted in because the cost of housing is low, A few seniors that have lived their entire lives there remain for the same reason, There are no public or private schools in town to attract families (because the relatively new grade school fell into a coal mine and was torn down so the kids have to be bused to the next town). There is one grocery store and jobs are nonexistent, so who would want to be there?
