Poorly run, this enclosed community was NOT a Master Plan. In fact, there are NO plans for how to keep it up and running. Pulte, the builder, has been running it since its inception. People there have no interest in participating in their community. They want it all done for them. But, they will loudly complain, without any action.
The clubs, famous as they are, are known to have 'certain people' who run them, and who are NOT interested in any new blood. It's a turf thing. The Jasper County side has no amenities (save a small pool and a rustic golf course). They pay double in taxes, and are very resentful - as they should be. Their requests for their own dog park, or watering hole have been consistently denied. Overall, it's a strange and isolated place to live, with HHIsland dangerous and difficult to get to, due to traffic, accidents, and other sundry issues in attempting to get there. Overcrowded area, that will get tiring after the first year.
