Review of Brooklyn, New York

It's All About Brooklyn!!!
Star Rating - 9/27/2018
I looooooove Brooklyn! So much culture! So many options of restaurants! So much diversity. It's one of the best places I've been to and lived. Granted, the commute is dreadful, but overall it is a great place to live. One other bad thing is that it is quite expensive, but this is New York we're talking about here. There is a lot of gentrification going on here and a lot of people are against it, but I believe that some of it is necessary. There are some places that are falling apart and infested with rodents, so I don't think it's such a bad thing that people are buying them up, fixing them, and renting them. Unfortunately, costs go up, up, up! On the upside, the restaurant options are phenomenal! I live in Stamford, CT now, but I come here quite often. Brooklyn Bridge is a sight to see.

To live in Brooklyn, you need to be making the big bucks, because it is super expensive! Living wise and rent. It's pretty noisy, but it's becoming the new Manhattan honestly, so that is expected. If you've ever heard the Jay-Z song where he talks about losing out on buying in Dumbo for $2M and now it's worth $25M. Yes. You see that if you go there.

Pros: Great sight-seeing. LOTS to do. Great shopping. Lots more to mention, but we'll be here all day.

Cons: Cost of living, congestion, loud nights, cost of food, competitive jobs.
