Review of Flagstaff, Arizona

Flagstaff's climate
Star Rating - 9/23/2008
I have lived in the heart of Flagstaff since August 2005. I grew up in Buffalo, NY. We had as long a winter in 2007-08 as I can remember having in Buffalo, and I grew up in the 50s and 60s. Flagstaff has a good deal of sunshine, even in the winter, but also can have a good deal of snow. It definitely has cold and very cold days days in the winter, and cold days well into April and even May. I am leaving this area because I want to be able to hike, walk, and camp year-round. Flagstaff's 6,900 elevation characterizes this climate as cold.
