Review of La Porte, Indiana

Theater, Music, Art, and Orchards

Some of the good things about La Porte. It has the La Porte County Symphony for music lovers, La Porte Little Theater for those who like plays, an art gallery with rotating exhibits, lots of local restaurants (though for the most part they seem to specialize in quicker meals and cater to a lunch crowd), and for those of us who love fresh fruits and vegetables there are many local farms such as Garwood's and Pavolka that are great. The La Porte County Museum is worth visiting. Also in the area is the Hesston Steam Museum that's fun for all of us who like trains.
