Looking for a New Place to Call Home

Honestly, I love living near Cumberland City. It's a very laid-back country community. People tend to mind their own business, but there is always someone to lend a helping hand. However, it has one downfall: it's part of the Clarksville, TN metro area. I've lived in this area all of my life, and I have seen it grow from Smalltown, USA to the most underplanned, God-awful wannabe megalopolis on the face of this planet. It's a battleground for the small-town good ol' boys versus the retired/relocated military. The GOB's only seek to line their own pockets and out-of-towner retired military just want to come in and let all of us ignorant hicks know how things are done correctly, the military way. Not an entirely bad place to live, granted, if you're satisfied with just getting by. However, if you're looking for a great career with chances at advancement, this isn't your place.
