As a former resident, former Board of Education president, former Economic Development Commission president, I must say Waterford is a great place to live. It had the Crystal Mall, excellent schools, great neighborhoods, on Long Island Sound, Interstate 95 goes through the town of Waterford which is made up of five communities. The police and fire services are excellent and the climate is a true four seasons. Summers are great and taxes are low due to the Millstone nuclear power facility. The airport at Groton,CT is very convenient.
I have lived in quite a few communities in my lifetime and Waterford is tops.
