RUDE AND MEAN?????? August 1,2012
Geee, we have been considering a move to Ocala (or Belleview or Dunnellon). Talk about rude or just plain Northerners with attitude, try living where I live in Ft. Lauderdale,Florida.!!! Driving in any area in S. Florida all the way up to Palm beach is hideous. The birdie flip is the S. Florida salute while driving.
We have come up to Central Florida looking for a house in Ocala,Belleview or Dunnellon and have found everyone to be extremely polite. We were shocked at the difference in people's attitudes in Ocala as opposed to where we live.We have lived in a small(but nice) neighborhood down here for 15 years and if you are NOT from up North you just don't fit in and barely anyone will talk to you. Ohh yess,they will wave at you when you go to your mailbox.So now I hear the same thing is happening up there??? We were up there about two weeks ago and didn't seem to find anyone who was either rude or mean. Of course we don't live there...yet. Should we reconsider???
