I have now lived in Bagdad for 6 years and I have watched it almost die. If you are looking for a great place to work with cheap housing, this is the right place to be. Bagdad, Arizona is a quiet little town that, if you ask people if they know where it is they look at you like you are crazy. I like it here because there is alot more around here than you think. We have lakes all around us and hills just 5 minutes out of town. We have a river and a race track... yes alot to do outside. We also have a place where, if you are a horse person there is a place where you can keep them. We do have gymkhanas in the summer. Not alot of work but the one thing that keeps this small town going is the Mine. It is the main money maker here. There are opportunities to tour the mine but most of the time they prefer if you stay out unless you work there for your safety. This is a great little town with lots of great people in Read More
