Not an awesome small city. - 1/26/2018
We moved to buckeye to get away from phx. We came through our neighborhood several times before buying. We always saw kids. Never saw families. We mistook that for family environment. Unfortunately we have a neighbor who likes to throw cigarettes on our yard, point and laugh at our kids. Throw rocks at our vehicles and the list goes on. We had to go to court to try to put an end to it. Buckeye police did nothing even though there were several calls. We found out the same neighbor had the same exact issues with the same neighbor also went to court. We also bought an item from someone in surprise. The man told us he previously lived in buckeye and he too went through a similar issue with his neighbor in a different area. He, like us, called police and went to court. Nothing was done. All I can say is this is not a great community. The police will not help you. So if you move here, know the law. Know your rights.
