Nogales..."Little Spring Town." - 7/22/2018
I'm not reviewing Nogales 3 stars because I hate it. I'm reviewing it 3 stars because it has it's great pros and cons. I lived in Nogales for the first 17 years of my life. I have seen the good and the bad of the small Bordertown.
The cons: Underfunded schools, low unemployment rates and the border fence. The schools in Nogales don't seem underfunded but after attending school in Nogales for many years and after leaving and finishing high school in a small charter school in Tucson. I never realized how underfunded Nogales schools really are also bullying is a BIG problem. I wish they could've taken a better look at the bullying problem there when I was a child and young teenager. Though I do agree there's less bullying nowadays and less homophobia. There's hardly any jobs in Nogales and it falls into 12.0% of the unemployment whilst the nations unemployment is 9.0% I heard it's not getting any better now and I can prove it due to my last visit down there and part of the
