Many users have shared their experiences and thoughts on living in this particular place on BestPlaces.net. Here are some excerpts from four different user reviews:

2. "I moved to Payson three years ago and it has been nothing short of disappointing. The lack of job opportunities and high cost of living make it difficult to make ends meet. The winters can also be harsh and the summers are scorching hot." - John S.
3. "Payson is a hidden gem. The slower pace of life and access to outdoor activities like hiking and fishing make it the perfect place to retire. The people here are welcoming and there is a strong sense of community." - Linda M.
4. "I've lived in many different places and Payson is by far my favorite. The mountain views and proximity to lakes and forests make it a nature-lover's paradise. The only downside is the lack of diversity and cultural events." - Carlos R.
Overall, it seems that Payson, AZ has its charms and drawbacks. The natural beauty and sense of community are highly praised by residents, while the limited job opportunities and extreme weather can be challenging for some. It may be a great place for those looking for a peaceful and scenic lifestyle, but may not be the best fit for those seeking a bustling city atmosphere.

Good and Bad - 7/18/2018
Good stuff....Beautiful! Mild climate, lots of sunshine. Lots of outdoorsy activities because Payson is surrounded by national forest. 2 beautiful safe gated golf communities. 90 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport. Nice people. Peaceful. Only time traffic is bad is Friday afternoon or Sunday afternoon in the summer months due to Valley People trying to cool off over the weekend and passing through town.
Bad stuff....Hospital is only a level 4 trauma center. If a bad medical situation occurs, it requires a helicopter ride to The Valley. Medical specialists are lacking and have a high rate of turnover. Public schools have poor student proficiency rates. There is a lack of jobs that pay more than $10/hour. There is a large quantity of retirees who are very nice people but depress wages by working for free, as volunteers. Shopping stinks. Amazon Prime is a non-negotiable. The phone/internet/electricity/cell service is unreliable. There is no public
