Hard to beat living here - 6/1/2006
Live in the San Francisco Bay Area about 35 miles east of SF. Night and day difference between SF and here. Summers: SF cool damp, hot drier out here. SF hustling and cramped, layed back and coyotes howling at night this way. One hour to the ocean (cold water though), 3 hours to skiing, golf all around (all year) and you can do it all on the same day. Great local restaurants and shopping too.
Down side. Very, very expensive to live here, 60 year old 2Br 1Ba 850 sq ft home is over $500K out here. $1M gets you a 2400 sq ft track
