Best Kept Secret in Perris - 8/31/2009
The city of Perris was catapulted to national attention and described as "the epicenter of foreclosure in Riverside County," on ABC's Nightline in 2007. Despite this negative claim to fame a secret gem thrives and it is the Monument Ranch Community. It is a neighborhood surrounded by open space and the San Jacinto Mountains. It is not your typical cookie-cutter tract due to the various architectural style homes with exteriors ranging from Tuscan to Traditional. The community parks ring with the laugher of families. Neighbors smile in passing while walking or jogging. Yes we were hard hit by foreclosures but we continue to thrive and love our homes!
