A great place for family - 4/8/2017
Just about 30 minutes north of Marin county, this place is becoming a home for younger generations.
Parents are very much involve with their children's school and after school activities. Almost every child is either involve in sports or music lessons at a very young age. To minimize crime in the area, there is a communication via "Nextdoor Petaluma Airport" website to make their neighbors aware of any suspecting incident. Police department posts on this website every time there is a crime or arrest in the neighborhood.
There is so much to do in Petaluma like the Egg and Butter parade, Veteran's parade, and the Ugliest Dog contest is held here.
Petaluma was known as the "Egg Capital of the World" and if you have room in your backyard and your neighbor won't mind, you can raise chickens to get that fresh eggs every morning!
