Summers are brutal! - 2/23/2022
I read the previous 2 reviews and both are a bit wacky so I had to address the obvious here. This is a very decent pace to live but I have to disagree with the climate rating because evidently someone just looked at the stats online and made a rating based upon that. I have lived in Redding for about 28 years now so I have some real word experiences. Fall is the absolute best season with mild winters. Of course we had rare snowstorms that can be treacherous and also heavy rain/hail but again, not very often. Spring can be nice temp wise but if you have any allergies, best to stay inside for a month or so and keep your HEPA filters on max power. The pollen is so bad at least where I live that my car is covered so much so, it looks yellow. By mid-May, the pollen subsides but now comes the heat. It is so bad, that one day in July about 10am, I steped outside and I literally felt that I was being cooked on a grill so I jokingly asked my wife if we had a barbecue sauce and start

absolutley terrible - 10/9/2019
ive lived in this city my whole life and i can not Wait to get out. you could be getting a taco at taco bell and see a horde of druggies ransacking a nearby gas station. or you could be headed to the public library to find a nice book and sit down and read only to be detured by the massive amounts of drug adicts sleeping on the lawn(the inside is worse). Or going to a local grocery store but during your shopping trip you need to use the restroom so you heat twords it only to be blinded by the blue lights that the store had to put in because people have no common desency to shoot up somewhere else. and the list goes on. ive seen CHILDREN PLAYGROUNDS being completeley run down by drugs and crimes. wonderful public places become a breeding ground for child molesters. a car in a neighborhood be stolen by some hyped up alcoholics and crashed down the road. any public place they find they will take over. and the city council does absolutley nothing about it. please,for your saftey and well
