Great Place to Live - 8/2/2007
I have lived in California for over 30 years. Originally from Chicago, IL.
I know you here much about Santa Ana being an awful place to live but it's just not true.
There are many neighborhoods which remind you of the Midwest as far as being friendly and safe. Where neighbors are really neighbors, willing to help when needed and always watching out for each other.
Some of the best neighborhoods to live in are Park Santiago and Floral Park (both are located at the north end near Main Place Mall) Alos, Washington Square which is just south of 17th Street and West of Flower.
Great neighborhoods, neighbors, safe and friendly. My point is, there are always a few bad apples in every barrel but overall, Santa Ana is a great place to Live.
