Small town living - 12/16/2018
My husband and I moved to Calhan in 2016. Every person we've met has been friendly and helpful. This little town is about half way between Colorado Springs and Limon making it a perfect location for a bedroom community for either location. One of the major problems here is that there is little pride of ownership in one's property. Many non running vehicles, people living in RV's etc. making the appearance of an otherwise great little town look run down and depressed. The bones of a terrific little hometown are all here. The school system is awesome, the fairgrounds are here, and ........ wait for it ....... there is a DIRT TRACK for sprint car racing and other similar categories. WE NEED YOU if you want to live in a small town and are willing to support an effort to make Calhan great again!!! (get it?)
