We live in the Congress Park/7th Ave Historic District and we have small town living in the heart of the city. GREAT neighbors, fantastic schools, walking distance to Cherry Creek North shopping and restaurants, overall a fantastic place to live. Not to mention our homes have yet to see depreciation...although the appreciation rate has decreased a bit our homes still continue to gain value.
