Run Down Area Exit 128-Countryside-Jimmy Camp Link - 9/11/2017
Junky-Drive around South Fountain and see for yourself. Country Side-Jimmy Camp Rd/Link and Old Pueblo Rd off exit 128. The southern part of Fountain has no infrastructure. They build houses with total disregard for traffic congestion, road or basic city maintenance. Fountain DOES NOT enforce very lax municipal codes, nor maintain the city South of Mesa Ridge. This area is pretty run down with lots of short term renters, over grown weeds, pot holes, damaged street signs, poor street /culvert drainage, junk and trash on properties and dilapidated dwellings/barns and junk cars. You can pretty much destroy the area, park what and where you want and nobody cares. All the resources are focused on Mesa Ridge while the South side of Fountain is neglected and trashy. They let developers off the hook and HOA’s/Covenants mean nothing since most of them fail. Shame, since the South side has so much potential.
