Little Cornwall, CT - 5/11/2009
I've been to Cornwall hundreds of times in my life. My grandparents lived there for 40 years, and now my extended family has a small house there. The town of Cornwall and the people there are both very humble, polite, and respectful. They do a lot of town activities and things to bring the community together.
There is also a great skiing destination there: Mohawk Mountain. In the winter, the place is very popular. My mother is friends with the owner, who says that every year the number of season passes escalates. Not to say that it would be crowded; the mountain is huge and has all different levels for experienced or beginner skiers.
In the summer, you can go to many different pond beaches that will allow you to park for free and swim. There is also a camping area that is very easily accessible and a fun park called The Falls, because of its small waterfalls, that have picnic benches and grassy areas. It is a great place for anyone of any age.
