DO NOT move to Delaware - you'll hate it! - 4/24/2019
I've lived in Delaware for 3 years now. My rent has gone up almost 20% in those 3 years. The water-supply in Middletown is HORRIBLE - you can't drink it, the ice-cubes taste funny (even using a filter), and toilets are almost impossible to keep clean. I have a spare bathroom that rarely gets used, and it gets covered with scum and minerals in as little as four or five days after scrubbing it. And, there are no consistently reliable restaurants in town.
As for Delaware itself - the only advantage it has is the no-sales-tax. The traffic is horrible, the cost-of-living is high, and the state of Delaware makes it extremely hard to get in and out of shopping centers.
