Luxury condos and Riverfront mansions - 7/23/2017
Cocoa Florida is divided into luxury riverside homes and condos, and the 'other' side of town, the lower income housing. The riverfront property is beautiful with amazing river views all year. Winters are very mild, there's golfing, the Space Center, the beaches, the amusement parks (Disney, etc), shopping, boating (direct access to the Atlantic Ocean ) and the riverfront property is on the Intracoastal Waterway.
To be honest, West Cocoa is lower income and the crime is higher in those areas. The local schools are below average. But I live on the more upscale side of the town and do my grocery shopping, etc. across the bridge (5 minute drive) in Merritt Island. Cocoa Village is an adorable small town of cute shops and local restaurants, it's a 5 minute walk from my home and I walk there with my dog
