A WONDERFUL CITY - 10/29/2018
Ive lived in Edgewater 30+ years. This town is ideally situated in central Florida between the Larger cities of Daytona Beach and the Space Coast, close I-95 & I-4 for a straight shot over to Orlando and its theme parks or the west coast, such as Tampa Bay or Cedar Key. Its about 15 minutes from New Smyrna Beach and within 30 min. of 3 other beaches. You can easily watch a beach sunrise then be on the west coast before lunch to await a beach sunset the same day. Close to airports, malls, & museums. Located on the river, an array of fishing, boating and water sports are available. It's small enough to have plenty of riverside parks and peaceful places with that local, friendly atmosphere, but big enough for all your basic conveniences. Houses are a little cheaper & there's are always family friendly events on the calender in Edgewater or neighboring New Smyrna Beach. Good schools. YMCA. Youth programs. Retirement communities.
