What BestPlaces Users Say about Navarre

Navarre, Florida (Zip Code: 32566) is a small beachside community located in the Florida Panhandle. With its beautiful white-sand beaches and laid-back atmosphere, it is a popular destination for tourists and retirees alike. However, for those considering making Navarre their permanent home, it is important to hear from those who actually live there. Here are four excerpts from user reviews on BestPlaces.net that provide a glimpse into what it's like to live in Navarre.

1. "I moved to Navarre four years ago and I absolutely love it. The beaches are breathtaking and the people are so friendly. It's a small community but there is always something to do, whether it's fishing, boating, or just relaxing on the beach. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else." - Sarah

2. "I've lived in Navarre for over 20 years and it's definitely changed a lot. It used to be a quiet, peaceful town but now it's become more crowded and there's a lot more traffic. It's still a nice place to live but it's not quite the hidden gem it used to be." - John

3. "I moved to Navarre two years ago and I have to say, it's been a disappointment. The cost of living is high and there's not a lot of job opportunities. Plus, the summer months are overcrowded with tourists and it's impossible to find parking at the beach. I'm looking to move elsewhere." - Jennifer

4. "I've lived in Navarre my whole life and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The community is close-knit and there's a strong sense of pride in our town. The schools are great and the beaches are amazing. It's the perfect place to raise a family." - Michael

From these reviews, it is clear that Navarre has its pros and cons. While some love the small-town feel and access to beautiful beaches, others have noticed the increase in tourism and cost of living. It's important to consider all aspects of living in Navarre before making a decision to move there.

I moved here in spring of 2001 so I've seen much of he growth; still there is a very strong "hometown" feel to Navarre. The people in Navarre area strongly supports the community activities and schools. As the town grows so do the challenges; but keeping everything in perspective, the quality of life here is still great and the traffic is nothing compared to cities or some of the places I've lived overseas and in the U.S..

We were once strictly a bedroom community for Fort Walton beach to the east and Pensacola to the west, but that has changed drastically as Navarre is coming into its own. The people of the community have particiapted in drafting a Town Center Plan to guide the the type of growth and how Navarre will look through the creation of an archetectual committee for a core area of Navarre.
