Oxon Hill, Glass Manor area of Prince George's Cou - 5/28/2009
If you plan to relocate to the Oxon Hill, Glass Manor area of Prince George's County Maryland; this would not be a place to move. They are located just outside of the South East section of Washington DC. This area is the most crime ridden area of our Nations Capital. Although the Peterson Group has built the National Harbor a few miles from this area along the Potomac River. They have hopes of this to revitalize the area with multi millon dollar condos, high end shops and the Gaylord National Hotel and convention center. It will take many years for the revitalization to take effect. Prince George's county has one of the highest counties in Maryland with foreclosures and a very high crime rate. More people have been moving to Charles county, Maryland with is approximately 18 miles to the south of Prince Georges.
