Safe clean and county feel. - 7/19/2021
Lived in north Oxford for more then 20 years, what a great place to live.
McIntyre rd.
Never had any crime issues always felt very safe.
Where we were was very quiet, nice area with mostly single family homes.
One of the best places in mass to live, due to the recreation opportunities nearby.
2 lakes within 2 miles, swimming, hiking biking horse back riding,or just going for walks after supper.
Lots of horse farms, open fields, a real county feel.
Also plenty of history too...
Schools are wonderful for 1-6
Jr high is a bit rough but getting better.
All schools are pretty new.
Town hall is old but has small county charm,(clock tower etc).
Taxes are just ok, they could be lower but the wrong people are in office at this time.
In all we felt safe, comfortable, and at home.
