Sandwich buildings and structures - 6/10/2009
If you are old enough to Remember the Bob Newhart show, the entry credits show a portion of this town which the show pretended was in Vermont. Guess the Nh street corner looked more like the producers ideas of what Vermont is. The town itself is a lovely "colonial" nineteenth century village made all the more lovely by the fact it is a functional, modern up to date town that lives well with land and does not have the phoney 19th cventury veneer that williamsburg, Virginia has or museum towns have. Well worth visiting to see a neat well cared for town and place that is a delight for the the eye. Keep a sharp look out for several very interesting stone walls and a couple of massive manor
