I believe you are off on tax rate it's approx.1.42 per hunderd of asseessed value ex. 300,000 assesd home would be taxed at 4250.00not counting sewage/water billsanother 550.00 or so
We moved here 2002 and it was nicer then now the tax rate goes up the services are down
the streets aren't as clean/little more crime/traffic really getting bad commute time is way more then you list takes 30minutes to go 8---10 miles
seems like everyone in 10mi. radius doesn't work or is on the roadstween 2.30/7.00pm
mon/fri can't even movethis whole ocean county living is for the birds /got to be rich or well off
can't wait to get outof state /pine beach away from OC.
