Best Places review is way off - 12/6/2023
To start, ignore Best Places review. They obviously have never been here. There are few rolling hills and even fewer restaurants. There is no business district or post office and it isn't a village. It is a hamlet, which means there is no local government, no police force, and no fire department. It is, however, a wonderful place to live if you like quiet, peaceful, and rural surroundings. Lake Ontario borders its northern border and the local terrain is populated by orchards and corn fields. There are no traffic lights in Burt, but there are stop signs. There are two bars and two wineries. That's it for businesses. There are grocery stores, dollar stores, hardware, and gas stations within 5 miles. I've been here 18 years and never plan to leave.
