NY is EXPENSIVE! You are looking to spend $1100 for a 600 sq ft 1 br apt. However, Any zipcode after 10461 is a pretty safe place to live except for 10468. The areas are mostly suburban and ppl leave you alone. The only reason y I want to leave is because for a single person, the rent is too high.
